The book  contains 100 lectures, 6 chapters and selected pictures to tell the 600 year history of the Palace Museum from the interaction and interpretation of the architecture, collection, characters and other elements of the Palace Museum. It includes the history of the Ming Dynasty Palace Museum, the Qing Dynasty Palace Museum, the Republic of China Palace Museum and the new China Palace Museum, from the 18th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1420) to the present 2020, a total of 600 years.
